Anthony goes to the apartment and tells Shayla to leave the apartment with Kai.😱

[Scene: Anthony arrives at the apartment. Shayla is sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone. Kai is playing video games in the corner.]

Anthony: (entering with an intense look on his face) Shayla... We need to talk.

Shayla: (looking up, sensing the tension) What’s going on, Anthony? You look like you've seen a ghost.

Anthony: (takes a deep breath) You and Kai need to leave. Now.

Shayla: (laughs, assuming it's a joke) Wait, what? Did you hit your head on the way over here?

Anthony: (serious tone) I’m not joking. Get your things, and leave the apartment with Kai. I’ll explain everything later, but right now, you can’t stay here.

Shayla: (eyes narrowing) What the hell are you talking about? You can’t just kick us out like that. This is my apartment too, you know?

Anthony: (shaking his head) It’s not safe for you to be here. Trust me, I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t urgent. Just... get Kai and go.

Shayla: (getting up from the couch, voice rising) Anthony, no! I’m not going anywhere until you tell me what’s going on. You’re scaring me.

Kai: (from the corner, overhearing the tension) Is everything okay? Why are you yelling?

Anthony: (turning to Kai, trying to soften his tone) Kai, listen to me. You need to go with Shayla. It’s not safe here. I’m doing this for your own good.

Kai: (confused) What are you talking about? This doesn’t make sense.

Shayla: (staring at Anthony in disbelief) What’s happening, Anthony? What’s going on? Why are you acting like this?

Anthony: (his voice strained, but urgent) I can’t explain right now. There’s something coming, and if you stay, you’re both in danger. Please, just trust me for once and leave.

Shayla: (her hands shaking slightly as she starts to gather her things) This is insane. I don’t know what’s going on, but you’re scaring the hell out of me. We’ve been through a lot together, Anthony. You’re not just going to kick me out because you feel like it.

Anthony: (taking a deep breath, trying to calm her down) I don’t want to do this, Shayla. But you have to understand—this isn’t a choice anymore. It’s not safe here. If you care about your safety, you’ll leave with Kai. I’ll explain later. I promise.

Shayla: (pauses, looking him in the eyes) You’re not making any sense. I don’t know what the hell you think you’re protecting me from, but I can’t just walk out like this.

Kai: (stands up and walks towards Shayla) If you say it’s dangerous, I’ll go. But only if you tell me what’s going on. (looking at Anthony) We deserve to know.

Anthony: (shakes his head, looking frustrated but trying to keep calm) It’s not something I can explain right now, okay? Not in this moment. Just trust me... please.

Shayla: (her voice trembling as she speaks) Trust you? After everything that’s happened? You want me to just leave, no questions asked? You think I’m stupid?

Anthony: (quietly, his voice breaking slightly) I would never think that. But I’m not giving you a choice. I’m doing this because I care about you. And I care about Kai. You don’t know how bad this could get.

Shayla: (pauses, looking at him as if searching for the truth in his eyes) You’re serious.

Anthony: (nodding firmly) I’m dead serious. And I need you to listen to me, Shayla. You might not understand why now, but you will. I swear you will.

Kai: (softly, trying to break the tension) Maybe... maybe we should just go, Shayla. If he’s this worked up, something’s going on. We don’t have to like it, but it’s better than staying here.

Shayla: (tears starting to form in her eyes) Fine. But this isn’t over, Anthony. You owe me answers. When I come back, you better explain everything. (gathers her things and walks toward the door, with Kai following behind)

Anthony: (watching them leave, his face a mixture of relief and guilt) I’m sorry, Shayla. I’m so sorry.

[Shayla and Kai exit the apartment, leaving Anthony standing in the doorway, the weight of his decision heavy on his shoulders. The door clicks shut.]

Kai: (quietly, as they walk down the hallway) What the hell was that about?

Shayla: (sighs, shaking her head) I have no idea, Kai. But we’ll get to the bottom of this. (pauses) He better have a damn good explanation when this is over.

Kai: (softly, as they continue walking away) I just hope it’s not too late...
