😱 “Wait… Are They Getting Back Together?!” Anthony & Amber Share a Moment NO ONE Expected!🤯
Amber:
(half-laughing, half-nervous) I honestly didn’t think you’d show up tonight.
Anthony:
(smiling) I wasn’t going to… but Liam insisted. Said it wouldn’t be the same without me. Didn’t expect to see you here either.
Amber:
Lena dragged me. Said I needed to “socialize like a human again.”
Anthony:
(soft chuckle) Well, mission accomplished. You look… good.
Amber:
Thanks. So do you. Healthier, actually. Been working out?
Anthony:
Yeah. And… I stopped drinking. Mostly. Just water for me tonight.
Amber:
(genuinely surprised) Wow. That’s… big. Good for you.
Anthony:
(pause) I’ve been trying. Lot of stuff to work through, you know?
Amber:
I know.
(awkward silence)
Anthony:
I’ve been meaning to text you. A dozen times, honestly. But I didn’t know what to say. Or if you’d even want to hear from me.
Amber:
I almost texted you, too. But I figured… space was safer.
Anthony:
Was it?
Amber:
(sighs) I don’t know. Some days it helped. Other days, I’d hear a song or see something stupid on TV and think, “Anthony would’ve made a joke about that.” And then I’d just… miss you.
Anthony:
(softly) I missed you too, Amber. Every damn day.
Amber:
It’s not that simple, though. Missing someone doesn’t erase what happened.
Anthony:
I know. I hurt you. I pushed you away, made you feel like you were carrying the weight of both of us.
Amber:
You weren’t okay, Anthony. And I didn’t know how to help you without losing myself in the process.
Anthony:
That’s what I’ve been working on. Therapy, actually. Weekly. Digging up stuff I buried for years.
Amber:
(genuinely moved) I’m… proud of you. I really am.
(brief silence as they look at each other—emotion lingering)
Anthony:
I’m not here to ask for anything, Amber. Not a second chance, not forgiveness on the spot. I just… wanted to be honest. I still care about you. Maybe always will.
Amber:
(eyes glassy) You always had a way of saying the exact right thing… after it was too late.
Anthony:
(nodding) Yeah. I was a slow learner.
Amber:
(hesitates) What if… it’s not too late?
(Anthony looks up, surprised)
Amber:
I’m not saying we jump back into anything. But maybe we could… start with a coffee. See what’s still there? Not as exes. Just… two people who meant a lot to each other. Still do.
Anthony:
(soft smile) I’d like that. A lot.
(long pause, filled with possibility)
Amber:
Okay. One coffee. No promises.
Anthony:
Deal. Just… one question.
Amber:
Yeah?
Anthony:
Do I still get to make you laugh?
Amber:
(smiles for the first time in a long time) You just did.
